Skylark have designed a tool that allows you to apply electronic signatures to any PC based document. Excel data, Word files, images, text files, or any type you can think of can have electronic signatures applied to them.
This means you can continue to use your current equipment and obtain GLP compliance using electronic data, without having to upgrade your entire setup.
The software has been designed to be stringent enough that it meets the FDA's 21 CFR Part 11 guidelines for electronic signatures, and more than satisfies the requirements for GLP compliance.
The software maintains a database of users who are assigned usernames and passwords by two seperate administrators.
A signed document is encrypted for security and retains the details of the user who signed it, the reason why it was signed, date and time of the signature, and any additional comments they wished to add whilst signing the document.
The software can be used at any time to verify a signed document, and retrieve the original data.
If a signed and encrypted document is interfered with, then the file will not validate successfully.
