Media Guardian Edinburgh International Television Festival
Skylark will again be providing IT support for the Media Guardian Television Festival in Edinburgh this year. This involves moving their office IT equipment from London and setting it up in the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) over a single weekend. The temporary office is connected via secure VPN's back to the servers in London. Secure wireless networks are set up for both the administration staff and the press centre. Skylark also re-program their phone system to route all calls and messaging to the phone lines provided at the EICC. Support is provided thoughout the festival and then all the systems are returned and re-installed in their London office.
